Coursodon 2011 Saint Joseph "Silice," Rhone Valley France
Vinous.com rating: (88-90)..."Opaque ruby. Dark berry preserves, licorice and cracked pepper on the highly perfumed nose and in the mouth. Sappy, penetrating and appealingly sweet, with slow-building tannins adding definition to the finish. Jerome [Coursodon] told me that although this wine will be enjoyable soon after release, "it has more than enough fruit to let it age well, but not forever; maybe it'll be best in three or four more years."
